Programs and Ministries

There are many programs and ministries for people of all kinds. Following is a brief summary of most of them.

The priests, assisted by a number of gifted lay people, keep in contact with those in need of home or hospital visitation or other needs.

Retreats
Interested members of the parish take three days together each year for a time of spiritual reflection and renewal. Retreats are also scheduled for teenagers and others from time to time.

Evangelism/Newcomers
The congregation makes a concerted effort to welcome visitors and invite others to the church, with the primary goal of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Youth
Quality educational programs and fellowship for children and youth are offered. These include a well-attended AWANA program on Thursday evenings and a class for Homeschooled children on Wednesday mornings.

Music
Volunteer adult and children's choirs, assisted by well-trained keyboardists, provide a top quality music program.

Community Relations
The congregation is involved in several community-wide ministries with other churches and city programs, and has been responsible for founding several of them.

Lectors, Lay Readers, Acolytes, Ushers, Greeters, Choir, Altar Guild
These ministries for men, women, and children make the worship services on Sunday and during the week possible.
