The Treasure Box is a faith-based, non-profit, non-denominational organization that has relationships with over 400 major food manufacturers and purchases their surplus production at substantial discounts to provide, through sites such as Blessed Sacrament Church, delicious, affordable food at a substantial savings to the community.

You or someone you know can now have low-cost, high-quality frozen meats, fruit, vegetables and other products, available to you monthly.

Order as many food boxes as desired. There are no applications or income requirements.

Ordering Food:

The deadlines for ordering and distribution dates are shown in the chart on the right. The easiest and best way to order is on-line by visiting www.thetreasurebox.org/pr with payment by credit card. If you wish to order in person and pay with cash or check, please call HIS House at 714-993-5774. Their receptionist will direct you to the HIS House office where you can place your order. You may pay the receptionist with cash, check or money order for the exact amount. Credit cards are not accepted for in-person orders. Full payment is required at the time of ordering.

When ordering please make sure to give us:

1. Name of person or persons who will pick up the order.
2. Your telephone number and/or e-mail address in case we need to contact you.

Price:

The Basic Unit is a great value for only $32 when ordered for cash.  For on-line orders there is an additional $1.35 as a convenience/transportation fee.

The Senior Box or Convenience Box contains ten fully-cooked complete individual meals. Each month there are additional Special Boxes as well.

The Treasure Box serves a family of four for about a week or one person for nearly a month.

Food in the program requires cooking facilities and frozen storage. Full payment is required when ordering. The deadline for ordering is in the chart to the right.

 

Pick Up:

The Treasure Box food will be delivered by truck and distributed at Blessed Sacrament Church on days shown in chart at the right between 9:30 and 11:00am.

PICK UPS MUST BE MADE AT BLESSED SACRAMENT BETWEEN 9:30 A.M. AND 11:00 A.M.

ALL ITEMS ARE FROZEN AND WE DO NOT HAVE FREEZER SPACE TO STORE IT. Therefore, food not picked up by 11:00 am will be donated to a charity without refund to the purchaser.
